FFXI On Windows 7

So I upgraded from Vista to 7 this week, and now im getting horrible unplayable lag anytime there are brd songs or fire spells or if im anywhere near a maw. I had the same issue on Vista, but changing my Nvidia drivers to omega drivers fixed it. Problem now is i can't find any omega drivers compatible with win 7. =[ Does anyone know of any? Or any other drivers that I could try out, or know any other way to fix this.

Using Nvidia Geforece 7100 (dont laff!), which has ran it perfectly on vista and xp =/

could be your video card with windows 7 but it can be the fact windows 7 takes more video power to run so turn off your cool features in windows 7 and try that .. GL .. you may want to post your computer stats

I get lag on Windows 7 at the teleport pads, thats about it though.

sry my specs are
Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 @2.40GHz
4gig RAM
Nvidia Geforce 7100
Win 7 32-bit

I dont think its the win 7 features, just a problem ff has with some cards. There is a list on the pol site, but it hasnt been updated since 2008, and has no drivers for win 7 =[
The drivers I used on Vista and xp I got from Omegadrivers.net, but the last update was in may, and just says windows 7 drivers are coming eventually >< lol

>.> Like I said, I know its an issue with the card, cause its listed on pol. What im saying is there arent any drivers I can find for win7, seeing if anyone has any. I know a few ppl bound to have had this same issue because it effects a few nvidia cards.

Also you might wanna try disabling the Bump Mapping as

fixed ^^ Disabled bump mapping and installed those new drivers, not sure which fixed it but hey it works now. lol Thanks guys XD
