What Weapon Should I Give My Npc

i was thinking about this i dont know why i never thought about it before. i use the healer NPC and dagger club and staff all have some kind of a MP restoring WS.

what would be the best weapon to give?

dagger and club have 2 but Spirit Taker would give more back

its random if they do the WS anyway so does it really matter?

Some of the NPC weaponskills are AoE, which is why I gave mine a polearm. I think all three that you've listed have AoE, though I'm unsure about the club ones.

AoE WS' from the npc I figured would be undesirable when trying to take on one mob at a time.

You can really choose whichever weapon you like best, there is an option to disable AoE ws. :)

you can turn off AoE weapon skills for npc when you summon them in town

I use club on mine, since it uses 2 MP-giving WSs instead of 1, the odds of keeping MP up that way are higher than staff with a single WS that does that, since activation seems to be random.

I'd actually forgotten daggers have something similar, but as far as I can tell, that only works if the mob has MP to steal, while the club ones don't need that.

I gave mines the Hagun looking GK :), it was expensive though >_<
