I was checking elemental paths for weapon trials and noticed something, I would like to learn if there is proven relation between CHR and magic evasion, also MND and magic defense. If you observe final forms of weapons you will notice;

Fire: STR and Attack+
Wind: AGI and Evasion+
Thunder: DEX and Accuracy+
Light: CHR and Magic Evasion+
Ice: INT and Magic Attack+
Earth: VIT and Physical Damage Taken -%
Water: MND and Magic Defense Bonus+
Dark: MP+ and Magic Accuracy+

I know the relations between STR - Attack, DEX - Accuracy, AGI - Evasion, INT - Magic Attack, VIT - Physical Damage, but I was not sure about the relations between;

CHR - Magic Evasion
MND - Magic Defense Bonus

Can you guys say other than already known content CHR also increases magic evasion and similarly MND increases magic defense?

No. Not usually

Check wikis magic evasion macc etc pages.

Magic accuracy of the caster or tp user is dependent on dstat. What stat that is is dependent on the spell/move. Most are int based but a few magical attacks are mnd or chr based. Hell mythic ranged ws are agi based lol

Also if you check the calculating magic dmg pages you can see that dstats also effect dmg too. Though it wont be MDB.

It's just things that are normally aligned to those elements. I mean it's not like you can find a relationship between mp and macc (and macc is often more of a water thing anyways)

Actually, INT effects magic defence to a certain degree, not sure about MND. Standard elemental nukes like Thunder III etc. work on a formula that compares your INT to your targets INT. If you use burn on a mob, lowering their INT, your damage goes up. It's also the reason why you'll do less damage on mobs the higher their level gets.

That's technically two separate components in the magic damage formula, so even that's somewhat erroneous. MND would have the above effect in place of INT if it was a white magic nuke such as Banish or Holy.

CHR has no effect on meva, MND does not influence MDB. Basically what Dasva said.

You can't just make theories based on anologies. In the final BC of ASA, the light shantotto casts fire aero, and other light spells, and the dark shantoto stone water and, other dark spells, but the "light" shantotto also does meteor which is darkness ..

Meteor is a light based move though....

In one game it was non-elemental, but in all other FF games it's always been light/holy based.
