Does anyone know the peak time EU/GMT players play as when i log on it seems to be JP and america dont get me wrong they are good to party with, but just wondering so i can plan my time, might install FFXI at work :D

For me, I've never found a proper EU peak time, as America and JP players kinda stomp us in numbers. Pretty much, best time for us to party etc would be evening and night, 4pm+, otherwise we're mostly stuck in JP Onry. 'least that's how it's been for me on Bahamut and Phoenix

tbh ive noticed a lot of GMT people changed their "preferred" game time to fit in with the NA and JP's mainly for their shells.

that being said.. i see most GMT between 7-12pm

I play on and off all day, but that is because I am home all day.
I would say peak time for most UK players would be 7-8pm until midnight.

me n my wife usually play from 5pm -11pm which is when we see the biggest number of EU people on.

Wish there were more EU shells tho
