Uh... Ni overwrites Ichi, but casting Ichi doesn't cancel Ni, unless you manually do it, or have whatever plugin does that *** (doesnt know). I'd know from PLD WAR SAM BRD, which all use /NIN very often @_@;;

No proof offhand, but I've had Ranged Attacks miss while I had shadows up, its rare, and it really depends on level of mob. Seeing as most mobs that use Ratt are RNG, they have Acc bonus traits and are pretty accurate (read: very high).
