Level restrictions imposed upon Chains of Promathia mission battlefields have been lifted.

The level 75 restriction has been lifted on battlefields.

did this make CoP walk in the park?

I hope they introduce something that replaces the elemental staffs, I want my 8 inventory back. For Aquaveil I think it will work as a mix of SS and Blink, meaning you will get and take damage, but at the same time your spell will not be interrupted for a couple of times.

And does anyone else think that SE broke salvage gear with the new sets?

eh i dont think elemental staves will be obsolete, since they are % based, if anything they will only get stronger by level unless a cap is set on them.

Apparently you haven't seen the new trial staffs. I haven't checked the macc but I'm fairly certain it will be the opposite as the previos final forms were.

Anyways I'm 2 trials away from making a staff with +1macc and +4 magic dmg for lighting.

The +1macc is actually 20macc (NQ lvl macc) and the +4 magic dmg if it continues like it has been (+1 was 10% +3 is 20%) should be 25%.

I'd say 10% more dmg is definitely worth 10macc. Oh and if the macc one is same but opposite which it was on the last final form before update and continues the same way it should be 10% dmg and 50macc iirc.

But the real win here is it appears each element (though not the specific paths on that element sorry people that want to enfeeble and nuke in the same element) are named different allowing maccroing.

Also the trials aren't that hard just time consuming. Kill another 150 somethings with 150+ dmg kill shots (pretty easy with a staff that does 20% dmg now lol) and then same thing but higher dmg kill shots.

Now just gotta figure out a way for spellcast to understand this is my new "thunder staff" without making rules for specific spells.... though that might be better seeing as I might still carry HQ for debuffs

I'm talking about easy to get items, like go to AH> purchase > obtain.
Ele staves are open to anyone easily. Chill.
and I am sure some of those staves will replace SOME of the ele staves, but not completly all of them, if anything ele staves are still on top list in my book-fornow.

They did! It's actually weapons though. I just now found this out and still exploring but I found this in the magain trials.

It's the last trial in swords.

Ok so I looked through. There are 5 trials based on the 80 weapons. It started at Burning, went to Shining, Circle then had a split, Savage (They all were +10% WS damage) or sTP +9

Also had a DMG+ 4, 7, 9 then 13 for Savage and 11 for sTP.

Going to poke around some more but there is info on that for you all.

Also Emp weapons are from DMG+ Trial weapons. From end of line before update, you are two trials away. It seems there is one more DMG+ then splits, first path I CONFIRM Emp weapons. For Almace from a Noblies or w/e it is, 50 helms of Briareus. No other trials afterwards on first path.

Where are you all finding this information on all the new Magian Weapons?

I found it by going through the Magain Moogle. Wasn't hard at all really, dunno why it wasn't put up sooner.

From a thread on BG I finally stumbled across a SS for those that haven't seen it in game yet.



Edit: and yeah, 323%? Folks over at BG are still trying to figure out what exactly breaks the 100% threshold.
