So, any new jobs next year?

Ok, now we are getting our updates, new opportunities, more fun with the integration of level cap increase, I was wondering are we going to have new jobs as well? I know there is no plans on that within this year, but next year perhaps. It would sure increase fun even more with new possibilities. I have some job options in mind already, I will share them with you in short;
Templar (Great Sword master, DD, heavy armor, need some INT also as important percentage of damage will come from elemental abilities of some godly moves)
Time Mage (Manipulator of time and durations of enfeebling spells on mobs, a 2hr ability that resets time to a certain point past in time, hastega, such... [FF Tactics job]
Elementalist (personally I would like to see elemental spirits separated from Summoner job and integrated to this job with expanded possibilities)
Geomancer (use land itself as weapon, remember elemental staves ) [FF Tactics job]
Green Mage (Shaman, Druid) (multi purpose job, functions depend on gear choices) (smells WoW?, yes a bit, but it will be unique for FFXI)
Necromancer (beastmaster of undead)
Orator (Linguist, beastmaster of humanoids) [FF Tactics job]
Demonmaster (Warlock, beastmaster of demons, all that evil stuff)
Mystic (Staves master, a mixture of Monk and mage jobs, giving damage by using mystic waves) [FF Tactics job]
Mimic (imitates what mobs do, there are similarities with Blue Mage job, still unique on its own) [FF Tactics job]
Hunter (Beastmaster and Ranger mixture, will have own pet like adventuring fellow, and fellow can still be used along with pet, superb kiter with usage of traps as debuffs) [I personally dislike WoW game, but playing Hunter job was fun]
Artist (more likely closer to SE creativity, paintings and sculptures, all the art work, expand your horizons and imagination :D )
After all these newly added content, I can't resist to ask myself why not adding new jobs to game as well, which I see highly possible in future. What do you guys think of this subject? Would you add more jobs in your minds?

This game already has too many jobs lol, ***people struggle to keep gear for them all.
I highly doubt they will add much of anything else after the last update at the end of this year. After the last abyssea piece the only attention this game will probably get is server maintenance every once in a while.
They will probably focus most of their attention on FFXIV and producing other games.... other FF games lol

Haha... when you mentioned Orator being from FFTactics, I was like wtf? Then I realized it was Mediator in the PS1 version. I've never played the PSP version.
Also, Necromancer would be cool. I've read on more than a few sites that PUP was probably conditioned to be a Necromancer from concept but SE scrapped and gave us the job we know (and love) today.

I don't know if there will be more jobs, but I don't see a reason for SE to stop making new content. Everquest just had another expansion pack, even though EQII has been out for nearly 6 years. As long as it's profitable, I don't think they'll let it die.
Still, you listed some interesting ideas for jobs. I think the Time Mage's two-hour would have to be pretty limited though, or it'd be way to powerful. For example, didn't like the drops from King Behemoth? Rewind to when he was at 1% and try again, lol.

Not a chance in hell. the FFXI team has been working with a skeleton crew for years now. With the lvl cap hitting 99 at the end of the year, and FFXIV on the horizon. I really don't see SE taking the time and effort to create and balance multiple new jobs.
I also don't see too many players jumping for joy at the thought of leveling new jobs from 1-99 when most of them will probably still be working on getting their 75 jobs to 99 long after the 99 cap hits.
To go with the spirit of the replies:
You have a better chance of seeing all the ppl petitioning to be able to change the race and sex of your character getting what they want (Which also have no chance in hell of seeing that btw).

I highly doubt a new job will surface, but if ... they do add one, it would probably be Time Mage, for the simple fact that Demi spell is not in this game, and has been in all others, and that is a big Time Mage spell

Look at what we've received in the last few years, a skeleton crew couldn't have pulled that off.
While I agree that you have 2 chances of seeing new jobs (*** all and none), there's no reason to think new content will stop. I think FFXI will still be reasonably busy after FFXIV is out, regardless of how good or bad the game turns out to be. So as long as enough people keep paying for FFXI, then SE will continue to bring out new content.
