How will you ding 76?
in campaign and then lose it that same day
My DNC will be the first thing I level.
I've pretty much quit all my other jobs since I got dnc 75.
I think I'll just do a quick campaign ops, seeing as the past is where I did most of my leveling on DNC.

I think I'm gonna Meikyo Shisui a Greater Colibri just for the satisfaction of soloing one and dinging 76 on sam/war (and I'll use GK just for extra insult to injury on that Colibri lol)

Log out in woodlands before update -> log in -> kill a colibri and hope I ding and dont gotta do a stupid quest\whatever first.
We'll all login and be 76 already with 0/20k TNL

I'd also like to see a whole alliance ding after killing a HNM (and too bad to anyone that dies during the fight).
For me, it'll be while hunting new spells!

No, but would be more dumb to assume there won't be one than it would be to assume there is one.

i've heard speculations of it being yes and no. I really hope not. But, you never know. Its SE, they bound to do something to make it harder for us....
betcha 20gil you have to have had CoP,ZM, ToAU, and WoTG all completed, then you can have lvl 76
If there will be Limit Break quests or another requirement isn't what the thread is about is it? Once you have overcome whatever SE have us do to break the 75 cap (if anything), what will you do then would be the better question.
And I'll most likely level up with a friend, as their WHM and RDM are both capped, most likely on an Orc in Davoi.

I will ding to 76 as MNK right after I kill the first easy prey I see. Followed by NIN using the same technique.
assuming limit break quest is done or there is none, ill go the simple route and just swap weapons+job and clear 1 lesser colibri with each job as quickly as possible(@ 1 tnl on all jobs of course).

That's what I'm the most worried about too. How much exp is it going to take to get from 75-99?

Every level cap in the past though they've increased it a little. I wouldn't be surprised if they do they same this time. BUT also FFXI is an older game, there is the possibility that they won't make it ridiculously hard to reach lv99 eventually.
I sure hope no quest are involved. To many damn quest in this game as it is. As for XP TNL I hope they do not jack it up. 100K from 98-99 would suck a whole ton of ***. Keep it at 44K would be fair I think. I would be nice for SE to throw us a bone, not THE bone!!!
