Do you play in your cap or is just for show? Does it depend on the job?
IMO, for something that takes so much effort to get, the developers should of made it so it would be a no-brainer to use. Think of the Rajas Ring. If you have it Rajas, you are using it right?

just got mine. I would say WS always, but select jobs [i'm thinking primarily certain mages] can utilize it full time depending on the situation.

Impossible to full time, like almost everything in this game. Also lost a lot of its appeal on WSs due to MKD options among other things.

Wouldn't be surprised, I can only assume level 99 gear will slap the hell out of Maat's Cap.
I've been working towards mine... I had to deviate a bit (tired of being told I have "useless" jobs for things I want to do), but will hopefully resume it soon.
I know there are better pieces out there and you don't get to use this all the time (or shouldn't), but it's more of a status thing to me. Like "Hell yeah, I did it." I would imagine the logical step thereafter is all to 75 (although obviously that is changing soon).
I do think the current cap will become augmentable via Magians sometime soon as well.
Question I've seen nobody ask yet is if SE will be cruel enough to create a Maat's Cap II dealio for all jobs (all, not just the first 15) to 99!

When you first get it you'll wear it full time for a week or so and tell everyone to *** off who says otherwise lol.

Thanks to Astral Burn. Maat's cap has become a stereotype for people who don't know how to play 14 of their 15 Lv.75 jobs.

A fair point indeed. But at least they had their Skill Levels within 50% of the natural 75 cap.

with the ease of skilling up now adays not being capped on given useful skills is a sin, specially with some of the new mobs that makes skilling up beyond easy.
