Um, I think Fenrir still does some Ballista, and whatever server Feiwong is currently on. He's a Ballista nut, and I mean that in more than one way. You might wanna wait on other opinions, but far as I know, Fenrir is one of the servers that still does it.

I don't like bind penalties on equip swaps personally. If they allowed it, would make for alot more fun. As it stands though I just see it as a broken, shitty and crappily made system. Maybe they will learn in FF14 that half the players want to pvp and will make a decent system this time, but to answer your question, no I believe. This server doesn't anyway.

Your best bet is to start a LS for ballista interested ppl and set up personal ones. The autoballistas the game puts out at OPs are pretty dead. There used to be like 8 Jps on here that would do them and 2 NA. Now I don't see any but I don't exactly go around looking for them.

A) Swapping gear would be retardded. You can't go 100% DMG for a nuke but wear as much dmg-% gear as possible. Picking gear a balance between offense and defense is part of the strategy. Otherwise, everyone would be doing the exact same thing.

Slept target pulls some 100+ ice resist build out of his ***
Spell gets off, doesn't kill DD
DD runs for mage to ws
Mage tosses on every PDT gear in the book

Ect, everyone would just be doing the exact same thing, no style to it at all

B) The real reason. Targetting. You can't target someone who is doing nothing but swapping gear. You could alternate two pieces of gear in a macro and just spam it the entire match

I believe that, I don't care much about the gear swaps, I like having ***I fulltime in, like tiger said, it's all part of strategy. I wish they would bring it back. Anyone got any good ballista pics?

Actually, I can go about 50/50 w/ them on win/loss ratio. Comes down to some luck play though. I wear things like arete del sol for resist bind stun grav. They're good for sure but def not broken or unbeatable. As yo ucan see anyone w/ decent defense, will last a while and has a chance to win. The only people blu are broken too are the retards who wear no defense and take 600 dmg from disseverment.

nah Ingwe is pretty good. One of the only blus that could beat me more often than I could beat him and yea, I'm Veg. Veg was taken on server merger so I changed to Tiger

Oh, though there is one aspect of blu I find broken on Blu, Clin. 1000 needles *** works like a mofo. Sleep > thousand needles > disseverment = win.

Doesn't get full 1000 dmg, but does 600+

I haven't ever had the chance to use my BLU in ballista... dead event etc. I wish I could though, the times I did it way back in the day it was a blast. Only thing I disliked about it was the damn moving around in circles and ***, just stay still so I can hit you!

Damn you got alotta ***to say, dontcha? lol. That strat is more about outlasting that blu, I laugh at the DDs that try to come into ballista wearing straight ATk and no DEF. I would still like to ballista some JP and work as a team. ROYALE COME BACK TO ME!!

Unless the mnk *** eva, which isn't common (But best vs staff). I can actually win most of the time. have taken out mnks w/ good gear as well. Basically take little dmg as possible w/ defense ***spam wild carrot, spirit taker for ws to get mp back repeat, but yea I bust out the staff to anyone not worthy of h2h
