I can't really help ya there with the Leonardo. But trust me I had a hard time all 9 months of my pregnancy trying to figure out a name for my son. Maybe try naming his middle name off a family member?

Just cause I know you don't get it, Elizabeth Bathory, 'The Blood Countess' was a widowed woman who killed, toutured, and sexually abused 600-ish young girls and bathed in their blood. She was also said to have turned lesbian after the death of her husband. She wasn't tried, nor executed, but was locked in an area in a castle, imprisoned by brick walls, till she died.
EDIT: As to WHY she bathed in blood, she felt it made her skin clearer and more youthful.
