Evolith Bonuses

Just out of curiosity, has anyone found any correlation with killing NM's after a Hunt to gain evolith, and having that evolith being a strong bonus? I have killed many NM's over and over and never get the strongest evolith they are supposed to give. Do you think it matters where you register the completion of the hunt, or what job you are on when you do it? I just wanted to get opinions of other members. Thanks.

I have hunted Calcabrina and Huwasi an awful lot lately.

Huwasi has dropped the lowest possible Evolith 8/8 times.
Calcabrina has dropped his lowest Evolith 5/5 times.

I really don't know what I am doing wrong. These NM are always up so I always hunt them hoping the Evoliths will get stronger, but they never do.

Eventually I gave up and wasted an 8-slot earth with a shitty 3 strength Evolith, and an 8 slot Fire with a 4 strength. Pretty disappointed, but either something is broken, or the Wiki/other linsk are wrong... D:
