That was the first Prince of Persia game I played and I really enjoyed it. This movie looks like it has potential, but as all video game movies go... it'll never be as good as the game.
On cell, so can't see if there's a vid or somethin in OP, anyways I thought the movie was being made even before disney bought them? Anyways they made the pirate movies, which weren't all that bad, so we'll see how this goes
I think the trailer looks really good; if the movie is even half as good as the game was, it'll be worth watching. As for the casting, it doesn't really bother me. Besides, I think in the trailer he looks enough like the Prince from the games, especially The Two Thrones.
It bothers me that this is a Disney movie, goodbye to the sweet violence scenes from the game. Unfortunately for this movie, and the rest of them if they make the rest of the games into movies, they are not going to be nearly as good as the games themselves. Case in point, the Resident Evil games compared to the movies, the movies were so off story line compared to the games, it disappointed me very much. I will watch this movie simply based on the fact that the games were absolutely wicked with the violence and the motions. Hopefully Disney is not ran by a bunch of asshats and hopefully they dont mess this series up.
