I know I'm a little late here, but I disagree with doing this. The poster of the topic was as responsible for the trolling as anyone else and was actually contributing to his threads turning to ***. If he can't keep a leash on his attitude, he shouldn't be given the luxury of people not being able to post in his threads.

Just my two cents... to be honest, he was as bad as anyone else. If I made a thread whinging about how much of a *** someone is, and then started being a huge *** to people, I'd expect it to get locked or moved to the flame core.

To generalize a bit on what Scragg posted, it pretty much comes down to this: nobody gets to vote anyone else off the island. This isn't Survivor, so don't ask us to ban someone based off their perceived unpopularity.

How about bringing some general niceness to normal threads though Korpg? There's no need to really be an asshat everywhere. Just use the Flame Core for that. I'll always be somewhat of a smart ***, but limiting my personal douchebaggery to this specific forum would be simple, why don't you do it too? Hell... It'd be more productive, along with not *** off so many people. That would also in turn make less people wanting to flame the *** out of you everywhere.

I understand you're trying to prove your standing on the forums as the big bad moderators, but honestly, you brought this upon yourselves. You named this forum "Flame Core." Just because you set special guidelines that are "less moderated" to keep things civil doesn't mean it's going to turn out this way. The whole point of a "flame" forum is no-holds-bars, in-your-face, to-the-point insulting. Your little guidelines aren't going to change an idea that's been around long before you guys made a website. You can hope things stay civil, but this is the internet. Nothing stays civil for long.

The guidelines state that this is pretty much a "beta" version, and if that's the case then it fails harder than Pankration. You guys are just too thin-skinned and want this place to be busting at the seams with fluffy bunnies and rainbows with dancing leprechauns at the end of it.

Shortened version: Don't get pissy when you name something "Flame Core" and people do exactly that.

This is a flame core, not an attack core.

This is for heated discussions, not your personal way to attack one person/group of people.

This is for stuff thats a little too hot to show on the front page.
