Hey guys! After seeing all the curiosity about achievement points, I thought it was time to study some profiles and figure out how it's calculated! This is what I found.
For every 267 1/8 experience points, you gain 1 achievement point, based on what FFXIAH reports as your total experience.
Every 1 craft level from 0-10 gives you 10 points.
Every 1 craft level from 10-20 gives you 20 points.
Every 1 craft level from 20-30 gives you 30 points.
Every 1 craft level from 30-40 gives you 40 points.
Every 1 craft level from 40-80 gives you 50 points.
Every 1 craft level from 80-90 gives you 40 points.
Upon reaching 90 in a craft, you gain an extra 600 points, as if making the previous 80-90 stretch now worth 100 points a level.
Every 1 craft level from 90-100 gives you 100 points.
Every reported relic adds 12000 points. Aegis is a relic, but Maat's cap doesn't count for anything!
Every rank 10 nation gives you 1000 points. This isn't graded evenly; rank 6 gives ~500 points.
I put this system through a spreadsheet, and it's pretty accurate! Usually I'm off by 50-100 points, but that feels close enough.
Edit: The paragraph below is wrong! See below.
[Oh, the total experience reported by FFXIAH seems a bit low. Recent TNL tables I've found are saying it takes 837,550 experience to reach 75, but FFXIAH is giving us 801,350 experience for each 75!]
As it is, getting a job from 1 to 75 adds 3000 points (1/4 a relic). Getting a craft from 1 to 60 gives 2000 points, and getting one from 1 to 100 gives 5000.
I'll let you guys have the word on what's fair, though between cooking and smithing/goldsmithing, I'd much rather do the cooking if I was just after points!
Edit: Changed exp divisor from 267 to 267 1/8 to make the calcs more accurate - now it's off by 1 or 2 due to rounding.
