Somewhere in Asura, a beastmaster dies a little on the inside.
Sucks that it's not 100%, but at the very least the drop rate is rather high.

For a War/Drk onry weapon? Your thinking Temp btw.

Also, while unlikely, did everyone in the party/ally that killed Fort already have the axe? I have heard of r/e drops not appearing b/c everyone already had it.

Yea its definatly gotta be like 95% lol

Common question ppl been asking me tho is if everyone in group had, the answer is no, only 1 of us had, 2 didn't.

Fun times! I've had a GM tell me stuff isn't 100% either.

My only question is why you greyed your name out when you're posting with it? xD

I have seen this happen but only when everyone had the axe already.

Took Fort with 3 other people and all of us had the axe so only virtue dropped.

i care that our wiki posts are accurate, i dont want some poor guy that buys a pop set and wants the weapon but it doesn't drop(doubt it), but still, its about being accurate to me

Well, if you read any other posts there seems to be some issues in regards to your honesty.

Also, my shell has never killed a jailer that didn't drop a weapon. If the drop rate was actually 95% then you would hear of other people not getting drops also.

More likely you all had the axe or just a crazy glitch. The GM has to say its not 100% since if all members in the party/ally have the axe it won't drop.

I agree with Frobeus. There hasn't been any questions about the jailer weapons NOT being 100% ever until today. Seems like either a glitch or everyone did have the axe.

Either way, nothing to freak out about and try editing the wiki to state one out of however many jailers that have ever been killed across all servers didn't drop a weapon.

I don't think it's anything to do with who you are or how you posted; when something out of the ordinary like this happens, it's a lot more savvy admin wise to think that you could be mistaken. I've never heard of reports of Jailer weapons not dropping, so it's most sensible for the admins of wiki to assume you're mistaken... That's their point of view, they have to be very skeptical when this kind of thing happens.

O.oa I had this happen with Carby Mitts which are supposedly 100% as well. Not all of us in the group had them and the pop right after the one that didn't drop Mitts dropped them. I just changed the info on Wiki to state that they're not 100%. Don't see what the big deal is if the drop is 99.999999% instead of 100%.

I even screenshotted it in case anyone doubted it.

Well if something is a glitch, then it doesn't really count. Like you wouldn't say the bridges in Windy are 99% solid b/c some people have glitched through them. You say they are 100% solid but people have glitched through them.

Yeah... If that's the way it was meant to be, then it would be a glitch. How do you know the drop rate is most definitely 100% for some items though?

Are you a programmer for Square-Enix?
Did you program the drop-rate for a certain mob in FFXI to be 100%?

Ohh... You aren't and you didn't? Ok then.

wiki said:
Certain items obtained from the Notorious Monsters holding the “Virtues” in Lumoria will now drop with 100% probability.

This can be taken a few different ways, however they could have just said the virtues obtained from the Notorious Monsters holding the "Virtues" will drop 100%. To me it sounds like both items, the virtue and weapon, will drop with 100% probability.

I don't know why, but it'd be hilarious if a programmer for Square Enix turned around and went "Yes I am, yes I did!"...

Ya I know, I'm bored, farming Diorite ><

How does SE saying that "certain items" will drop with 100% drop rate mean that the weapons will drop with 100% drop rate?

If they indeed said, "All Jailers in Lumoria now drop their respective weapons on 100% of kills." that would be noteworthy.

And yeah, that would be pretty funny, Wooooodum. lol

I dont understand when a player finds out something that is true, even if jailer weapons are 99.99% drop rate then it needs to be reported as a known fact. Stopping the public from editing wiki with the truth is being a communist, seriously i know items have a chance not to drop if everyone had it but this is clearly not the case, and if i was lying i wouldn't even both over lolweapons, but its not just the weapons, its people knowing the truth, even if there's a 0.5% chance of it not dropping people shouldn't just think its a 100% drop.
