Hmmm, didn't think many people listened to music over the FF songs and what not :x
I am currently stuck on: Ghostland Observatory, The Good Life, and Wolf Parade. I will also listen to System of a Down, Senses Fail, A Thorn for Every Heart, Rise Against, Brand New (:x), The Starting Line, and such.
Also like Tbest, I watch the occasional movie. Not anime mind you, but movie-movies.
Radiohead didn't live up to your expectations? I thought In Rainbows was fantastic haha, and that's why I don't make expectations for good bands making albums, I just wait and listen, so I'm almost never disappointed.
When playing the game it depends on what I'm listening to. Like just running around or soloing/farming it's anything. BCNM/KS it's rock. For pt's and dyna it's rap/rock. Anything that makes me sit up and want to kick *** more lol. On Brd I was listening to a lot of Dr. Dre >.> So while lvling Brd it was Dre/Tupac lol Cali love, U Can't C Me, Nothin But G a thang....stuff like that. Old school rap lol
Funny enough Whm was Down with the Sickness and Walk this Way >.>

various things, but i like Disturbed - Land of Confusion in Sky and Metallica - All Nightmare Long in Dynamis, both those songs go perfect with those places
Lately I've been listening to an independent group of artists who go by "Ethereal Universe"; they tend to remix game/character themes. Their primary work is Trip-Hop.
rock music is so bland and pathetically generic and over-done i want to hurt people for thinking its interesting
Good stuff, and yeah rock music is contrived. I don't really care for much of it if there's no meaning behind the lyrics, much of it isn't good "listening music".
edit:
I listed Tool/A Perfect Circle because I like the commentary that they usually have in their songs, they appeal to my loser self. As far as the 90's rock part went, that comment encompasses some Pearl Jam songs and a few others. I haven't heard anything worth listening to in the 00s besides Tool and APC...now I feel like I'm advertising for them, jesus... I'm not saying their name anymore.
--oh yeah, and if any of you misunderstand, I meant "auralrape" in a positive manner. The music just forces its way in and screws your brain...it's good.
Well since soloing can get a bit tedious and boring sometimes I like to spruce it up a bit with songs. "Prayer of a Refugee" by Rise Against is my favorite to listen to since it basically sums up the thought of soloing lol.
Considering a blu can just sneeze on a imp and get limit points(sneezes in the form of disseverments^^)
When I am just sitting in WG waiting for a decent shout Coheed and Cambria's "Feathers" does the trick.
